Web Version: Cleans URLs you paste directly in your browser. No special permissions are needed, and all processing happens locally — your links remain private and secure.
Browser Extension: Requests access to all websites to clean URLs automatically. This permission is required for the extension to work on any link you click or copy. No browsing data or personal information is collected.
Server-Side Version: Only tracks the total number of URLs cleaned for usage statistics. Individual URLs are not stored or shared. This allows us to monitor service usage while keeping your data private.
Privacy Assurance: PurifyURL does not track, store, or share personal data. All URL cleaning happens locally in your browser unless you opt into Pro features, which only transmit minimal information necessary for subscription verification.
